This function allows you to validate the reseller ratings. If a set of rating overlaps with another set of ratings, the system suggests a new value to correct the overlap. For example, if there is a rating 1 of a set of values 100 to 200, and another rating 2 of a set of values 150 to 300, there would be an overlapping of values from 150 to 200. Validation will detect the overlapping values and suggest a repair by changing the values of rating 2 to 201 to 300.
Go to Marketing/Setup/Rating: Rule/Reseller and then click Validation.
To validate rating rules, function right 261 – Maintain rating rules is required. Users with the Customer manager role have this function right.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to update the suggested set of values and save the changes.
Click this to cancel the set of suggested values, and leave the overlapping set of values for the relevant ratings unchanged.
Click this to exit.
The existing customer ratings are displayed in the Ratings: Existing section. The suggested values are displayed in the Ratings: New section. To resolve the overlapping values, you can accept the values suggested in the Ratings: New section by clicking Update. If you do not like the suggested values, you can leave the current set of overlapping values unchanged by clicking Reset. You can also manually modify the customer rating by clicking the rate in the Rating column. For more information, see Modifying Reseller Ratings.
